DHSS hosted the ribbon-cutting Friday of The Refuge, a 30-bed integrated treatment home in Bear for men with substance use disorder. Delaware Gov. John Carney, House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst and Rep. Earl Jaques on Feb. 28 toured The Refuge, a new integrated treatment home for men recovering from addiction. The facility, located in Bear, includes clinical supports, vocational training and wraparound services on site, in addition to housing.
